- 01All dogs must have Rabies and DHPP/DAPP vaccinations up to date. Bordetella and Canine Influenza are highly recommended. Puppies must have completed their core vaccine series at least two weeks before their first appointment for their safety.
- 02If fleas are discovered during grooming, the appointment will stop immediately and you’ll be contacted for pickup. Full-service fees apply, as the environment must be fully sanitized afterward. Ticks can be safely removed for $10 per tick, and we recommend consulting your veterinarian about testing for tick-borne illness.
- 03No, we do not. Anal gland expression is considered a veterinary procedure, and de-skunking is best handled under professional guidance. For your pup’s comfort and safety, please consult your veterinarian for anal gland expression or for recommendations on an at-home de-skunking protocol.
- 04Senior and sensitive dogs receive modified, comfort-first care designed to minimize stress. I’m trained in canine body language and emergency PetTech® CPR and First Aid. If your dog shows signs of discomfort or fatigue, the session will pause or stop as needed. In the rare event of a medical emergency, I will contact you and the nearest veterinarian immediately.
- 05That’s perfectly okay. Your dog’s emotional safety always comes first. If a dog becomes too anxious or tired to complete all services, I will stop for their comfort. Full payment still applies, as time and handling are part of the session — but we’ll adjust future appointments to support progress and build trust.
